UGG Boots Care
How do I look after my UGG boots?
We recommend using a scotch guard spray to protect your shoes from water and dirt. This spray is usually available for purchase on our website Water Proofing Spray.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash in warm water, using an approved wool detergent. Mild liquid wool detergent is recommended. DO NOT tumble dry. To dry, place in shade, away from heat or direct sunlight and allow to dry out slowly to retain soft, supple finish. It is normal for the boots to shrink a little after waching. They will return to their normal state after wearing them for a while.
STAIN REMOVAL (a few tips)
If you have a stain on the shoes, try this: place some sticky tape on the trouble spot and remove, repeat a few times with a fresh piece of tape. As you remove the tape, the stain should stick to the tape and the boot should be getting cleaner. Beware that this make take the colour away if the procedure is continued for too long. You can also try putting some chalk dust (just scrape some chalk with a knife) onto the trouble area. Leave the chalk on for a few minutes, then blow it away. Repeat until the shoes are almost clean. This is not recommended for dark coloured ugg boots, only the light coloured ones. If you spill some water on the ugg boots and you have a few water spots, you can rub the sheepskin boot against another sheepskin boot, of same colour, and the spot should dissappear.
